Saudi Launched CV Upload Service For Domestic Workers

In order to make the recruitment process of domestic workers in Saudi much easier and simpler, the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has launched a new CV Upload Service For Domestic Workers on the Musaned platform.

Employers can, as of now, make use of this service when transferring the services of domestic workers, as per the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). As explained by the ministry, this fully automated service is a new attempt aimed at enhancing the ease of selecting workers by CVs and streamlining service transfers for speed and efficiency.

With this system, domestic workers stationed in the kingdom can upload their CVs onto the Musaned platform after serving out their current contracts. These CVs capture essential information like required employment categories, skills, and work history. Potential employers can thereafter search and choose the candidates that they wish to hire for their specific job demands and skill set. Besides enabling the automated process, employers can easily locate the most suited workers, and equally important, the process’s transparency guarantees the protection of the involved stakeholders’s rights.

Currently, Saudi Arabia has approximately 3.97 million male and female domestic workers, including 2.73 million men and 1.25 million women. These workers fill various essential roles such as servants, house cleaners, drivers, cooks, food providers, security guards, home managers, gardeners, tailors, and private tutors. The new CV upload service is expected to significantly improve the efficiency of matching workers with employers while maintaining fair employment practices.

This initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals of modernizing labor processes and creating a more structured workforce ecosystem. By digitizing and automating parts of the hiring process, the Musaned platform continues to enhance services for both domestic workers and employers, contributing to a more organized and transparent labor market in the Kingdom. The system’s emphasis on documented skills and experience helps ensure that workers are matched with suitable employers, benefiting all parties involved in the domestic labor sector.
